AB Phase or Pulse Command

User:
We are having some trouble setting the correct  X / Z axis movement.

1-we don`t know if we have lost same factory configurations due to a power failure when we have the parameter switch on
2-What was the system cnc and drives original setting for work on (pulse comand  or  AB Phase mode) and in what servo level  0.001 or 0.0001 mm

When we set on the machine debug the option pulse +sign the motor doesn`t seems to move.(moves very slower)
When we set AB Phase option we can not get the right relation betwen motor movement and CNC control (we have already tried the Gear Ratio Adjustment (pag. 415 frommanual) but we always have big diferences between the cnc control and the axis movement ( we have direct coupling between motor and screw  and the pitch screw is 10mm )

3-We have direct coupling between motor and screw  and the pitch screw is 10 mm. Can you tell us what values should we take for data param. Nº15 X/Z and Nº16 X/Z

4-The servo drives came already with the right factory settings? Or we must change some parameters ?

We kindly ask if you can send us some information / tips about this issue。

CNCmakers Support:
Following you may find our answers as requested:

1-The factory configurations would not lost due to the power failure.

2-The default is AB phase mode and 0.0001mm.

3-If direct coupling between motor and screw  and the pitch screw is 10 mm, then please set
980TDc Parameter NO15X  1   NO15Z   1
980TDc Parameter NO16X  10  NO16Z  5

4-The servo driver need to adjust some parameters according to 980TDc setting.
X axis for example:
when 980TDc parameter NO0203 BIT0 is“1”
Then please set X driver  PA4 = 0  PA5 = 2

User:
The problem remains.

We set 0.0001 mm configurations and AB phase mode.

We set:
980TDc Parameter NO15X  1   NO15Z   1
980TDc Parameter NO16X  10  NO16Z  5

980TDc parameter NO0203 BIT0 is“1”

Drive parameters X  and Z driver  PA4 = 0  PA5 = 2 was already set.

What is hapenning: To make aproximated about 1 turn on the motor (with the MPG) we see the screen position X +/- 7.0000 mm and Z +/- 3.3000 mm

We count on dp – pos of the drive unit X -30.000 pulses for 10.0000 mm of displacement on the cnc screen

We count on dp – pos of the drive unit Z -60.000 pulses for 10.0000 mm of displacement on the cnc screen

The parameter 0000 X and 0200 Z are both set to 10 on the screw pitch compensation table. Could this be wrong ?Should we set this in 0.0001 scale ?

Thanks in advance for the help you can give us.

CNCmakers Support:
980TDC Parameter setting:
Please RESUME DEFAULT PAR.1(SERVO 1 u LEVEL)
Refer to 10.1.3 page 270
After done that please restart the CNC, and no need to change any parameter on the 980TDc

AC Servo Driver Parameter Setting:
X axis driver: please confirm the PA1=78
Then please set PA4=0  PA5=2  PA29=1  PA30=10
After done that please save the parameter.

Z axis driver: please confirm the PA1=79
Then please set PA4=0  PA5=2  PA29=1  PA30=5
After done that please save the parameter.
