CNC Program Restart Function of GSK218MC

The 218MC program restart function adopts a more concise way, because reinstalling and debugging tools are often encountered in the process of CNC machining. At this time, if the reprocessing starts from the beginning of the program, a large number of dry running tools will inevitably be produced. road. This requires a reasonable program restart method to reduce the idling time of program reprocessing and improve processing efficiency. The program restart function is thus born. The following is a detailed introduction to the operation steps and precautions of the program restart function:
01 Solve machine tool accidents. Such as changing the tool, changing the offset, returning to zero mechanically, etc.

In the <Auto> mode, press the program restart button on the panel.

Press the program key on the operation panel to enter the program interface, then press the [program] soft key at the bottom of the LCD screen to enter the submenu, press the [left] key twice to turn to the last page of the submenu, and press the [restart] softkey Press to enter the program and restart the interface. And record the different codes between the current mode and the preload mode. (Figure 10-1-9-1).

In the switch tool <MDI> mode, press the [Current/Mode] soft key to enter the current mode interface, and enter the corresponding modal code and M code according to the preload modal value in Figure 10-1-9-1.

Return to the <Auto> mode, press the program restart key on the panel, and then press the cycle start key on the panel, the program will run at dry speed and follow the (1) (2) before the coordinates in Figure 10-1-9-1 (3) The movement sequence moves to the starting point of the interrupted block (ie, the interrupted point of the previous block), and then the processing restarts.

02 Description
(1) (2) (3) before the coordinates in Figure 10-1-9-1 are the moving sequence of each axis to the program restart position, and the sequence is set by the data parameter P376.

When the coordinate axis restarts the position movement, the single segment is turned on, and the tool will stop every time the tool completes one axis movement. During execution, it is not possible to switch to MDI mode for intervention.
The movement mode of Z axis can be controlled by NO.49#0. (0: G00, 1: G01), when the G00 mode is selected, the tool moves to the restart position of the program at a dry running speed along these axes in the order specified in the parameter, and then the processing restarts.

Note 1: The operation can be performed anywhere, so check whether the tool may collide with the workpiece or other objects when it moves to the program restart position. If possible, move the tool to a place where it cannot touch any obstacles before executing the program. Restart.
Note 2: The block of program restart is not necessarily the block that was interrupted in the middle, and the operation can be restarted from any block. The method is the same as above, except that in the fourth step of "MDI" mode, press the arrow key "down" to directly define the preload modal value N line number, and press the "input" key to confirm. Then enter the current modal interface and input the corresponding modal code and M code.
Note 3: When restarting, the program segment is retrieved until the restarting program is executed, do not perform reset, otherwise, the program must be restarted from the first step.
Note 4: If the machine tool is not equipped with an absolute position detector (absolute encoder), the reference point must be returned before restarting after power-on.
Note 5: The program restart function does not support programs containing subprograms;
Note 6: The program restart function does not support programs containing rotation, mirroring, zooming, and polar coordinate modes;
Note 7: The program restart function does not support canned cycle programs;
Note 8: The program restart function does not support DNC online processing programs;
Note 9: The program restart function does not support macro programs (including Type A and Type B)

03 concluding remarks
Through the above description, you can quickly understand the program restart function, and effectively provide an intuitive and simple display interface. This function is used when accidents occur during automatic program operation, such as tool breakage, power failure, emergency stop, reset, etc. After the accident is eliminated, the system will return to the program breakpoint in dry run mode through the program restart function to continue executing the program to ensure Stable processing and debugging.
