Q: A lathe machine with GSK980TD CNC system, the machine used gang type tool post before, now we change it with 4 station tool post instead. The problem is after we changed it then press change-tool button, the 4 station tool post rotates but never stop, no tool number shown on the CNC system, and there is 24V between the Positive Pole and the 4 position cables, what is wrong and how to solve it? A: Solution is change the tool number parameter of the GSK980TD, change “1” to “4”. Because the gang type tool post use 1 tool only, but the 4 station tool post has 4 postions.
