Use Single Block function to avoid machine collision

Machine collision is no small matter. In the CNC machining process of a small machining center, if the machine collision occurs, the workpiece will be scrapped, and the spindle will be damaged. This will seriously affect the order schedule, processing efficiency and damage the service life of the machining center. Although the collision phenomenon cannot be completely avoided, it can be prevented to the utmost extent by using correct processing methods.
Is it difficult to prevent collisions? In fact, the built-in functions of the small machining center can be very good prevention.

In today's machining center operating systems, basically all have the "single block execution"-SigleBlock function. This button will determine if you have a chance to stop after making a mistake. Before processing the order "press cycle start", we must make sure that the next action of the machine is exactly the same as your expectation. If you are not sure what action the machine will perform next, then it is best not to press the "cycle start" button . In order to avoid unnecessary processing waste in the case of uncertain processing procedures.
The "single-stage execution" function is an important part of this rule. In the case of program changes, tool changes, coordinate system changes, etc., this function will effectively reduce the consequences of machine collision caused by mistakes.
In daily processing, after the programmer writes the program, the operator needs to perform the next operation according to the tool list and the program list.
Programmers need to simulate the processing conditions in advance as much as possible, find the possible dangers in the processing as early as possible, and check again after obtaining the post-processing program. Giving operators unverified processing procedures will damage each other’s trust, increase the psychological pressure on both parties, and at the same time cannot effectively avoid the occurrence of collisions.
