Debugging steps of vertical machining center

Vertical machining center needs to be debugged carefully before leaving the factory or at the installation site to verify whether the machining center is installed firmly and whether the transmission, driving, control and other systems are normal, sensitive and reliable. Therefore, the debugging steps of machine tools are very important. Let's take a look at the debugging steps of vertical machining centers.

Generally speaking, the debugging and trial operation of vertical machining centers needs to follow the following steps:

Step 1:
Add oil to each lubrication point of the vertical machining center according to the requirements of the introduction, fill the hydraulic oil tank with hydraulic oil that meets the requirements, and connect the air source.

Step 2:
Power on the vertical machining center, power each component separately or after each component is powered on once, power it on fully. Observe whether each component has alarms, whether each manual component is normal, and whether each safety device is working. Make all aspects of the machine tool able to operate and move.

Step 3:
Grouting. After the initial operation of the vertical machining center, roughly adjust the geometric accuracy of the machine tool and adjust the relative position of the main moving parts and the main machine after disassembly and assembly. Align the manipulator, tool magazine, exchange table, and position. After these tasks are completed, the anchor bolts of the main machine and accessories can be filled with quick-drying cement, and the reserved holes for the anchor bolts can be filled flat.

Step 4:
Debug. Prepare various inspection tools, such as precision level, standard square ruler, parallel square tube, etc.

Step 5:
Finely adjust the level of the machine tool so that the geometric accuracy of the vertical machining center is within the allowable error range. (Drilling and tapping center) uses multi-point pad support, and adjusts the bed to a level in the release state to ensure the stability of the bed after adjustment.

Step 6:
Adjust the position of the manipulator relative to the spindle by manual control, and use the adjustment mandrel. When installing a heavy tool holder, perform multiple automatic exchanges from the tool magazine to the spindle position to ensure accuracy and no collision.

Step 7:
Move the workbench of the vertical machining center to the exchange position, adjust the relative position of the pallet station and the exchange table, achieve smooth automatic exchange of the workbench, and install a large load on the workbench for multiple exchanges.

Step 8:
Check whether the setting parameters of the CNC system and programmable controller PLC device are in accordance with the specified data in the random data, and then test the main operating functions, safety measures, execution environment of common instructions, etc.
