Err-4 of GS2000T

User:

Kindly, we have Error 4 on the Y axis drive GS2000 controlled by the cnc 218MC-H .

This error happens when we run the Y axis at high speed .

What could be the cause ?

CNCmakers Support:

Driver err-4 means the position error.

1- Please kindly check if the gear ratio is set properly or not?

2- If gear ratio is fine, then please check the connection between motor shaft and ball screw, connection loose will cause this alarm too.

3- You can set PA32 with bigger value and see if the problem solved or not.

4- If the connection also good and setting PA32 bigger still not solved, then the motor could be broken.
