FANUC 5136 alarm (servo amplifier failure)



If 5136 alarm occurs:

(1) Check whether the control power supply 24V of each servo amplifier SVM is normal and whether the LED is displayed. If the LED is not displayed and the 24V power input is normal, it is judged that the servo amplifier is faulty.

(2) If the LED is displayed, check whether the optical port at the bottom of the FSSB optical cable interface COP10A and COP10B is lit. If it is not lit, it can be judged that the amplifier is faulty.

(3) Check whether the FSSB optical cable connecting the servo amplifier and the system axis card is faulty. (The way to check is to use a flashlight to simply illuminate one end of the optical cable. If the two optical ports at the other end both emit light, it is confirmed that the optical cable is normal. Otherwise, it is abnormal).

(4) Confirm whether the parameters have been changed and restore the original parameters of the machine tool.
