How to set the maximum spindle speed on FANUC CNC control?
The current maximum spindle speed of a machining center is 10,000 rpm. After the bearings are repaired and replaced, it is not used at such a high speed. In order to extend its service life, the maximum spindle speed of the equipment is limited to 8,000 rpm. However, after modifying several spindle parameters separately, the spindle speed cannot be limited.
The spindle parameters of the equipment are set as follows:
P3772=8000
P3741-P3743=10000
P3736=4095
P4020=7942
P4056-P4059=794
P4171=55
P4172=69
The processing steps are as follows:
1. From the spindle parameters, we can see that the spindle has no high and low gears, but the speed ratio of the spindle to the motor is not 1:1. Parameter P40 56-P4059 is used to set the reduction ratio between the spindle and the spindle motor. The parameter is set to 794, that is, the spindle reduction ratio = spindle motor speed / spindle speed = 0.794, indicating that when the spindle motor speed is 794 rpm, the spindle speed is 1000 rpm;
2. Parameters P3741-P3743 are used to set the maximum spindle speed. The current setting value is 10000. If we need to limit it to 8000, we can directly modify it to 8000;
3. Parameters The value set in P3736 is 4095. This parameter is used to limit the maximum speed of the spindle motor. The current setting of 4095 means that there is no limit on the maximum speed of the spindle motor. The maximum speed of the spindle motor is based on the setting value of parameter P4020; the setting value of parameter P4020 is 7942. Before modification, the setting value of parameter P3741 spindle maximum speed = P4020 spindle motor maximum speed/reduction ratio = 794210.794 = 10002; now parameter P3741 has been set to 8000, and the reduction ratio remains unchanged, then recalculate the setting value of P4020 = P3741*reduction ratio = 8000*0.794 = 6352;
5. After recalculation, you only need to modify parameters P3741-P3743 = 8000 and parameter P4020 = 6352 to limit the spindle speed to 8000:
