Maintenance of machine tools in winter

 In the cold winter, machine tool people should maintain the machine tools and equipment well, and don't let them get damp and frozen!

❖Main points for routine maintenance

01
Prevent dust and dirt from entering the CNC device.

02
Regularly check the conditions of various parts.

◆ Regularly adjust the tightness of the spindle drive belt to prevent the loss of rotation caused by belt slippage;
◆ Check the constant temperature oil tank for spindle lubrication, adjust the temperature range, replenish the oil in time, and clean the filter;
◆ After long-term use, the tool clamping device in the spindle will produce a gap, which affects the clamping of the tool. The displacement of the hydraulic cylinder piston needs to be adjusted in time.
03
Regularly check whether each part is loose.
◆ Regularly check and adjust the axial clearance of the screw thread pair to ensure the reverse transmission accuracy and axial stiffness;
◆ Regularly check whether the connection between the screw and the bed is loose;
◆ If the screw guard is damaged, it should be replaced in time to prevent dust or chips from entering.
04
Regular cleaning and replacement.
◆ Clean or replace the filters or sub-filters of each lubrication, hydraulic and air pressure system regularly;
◆ Regularly test the oil quality of the hydraulic system, add and replace the hydraulic oil;
◆ Regularly drain the water from the water filter of the air pressure system.
05
Periodically check and calibrate the level and mechanical accuracy.
06
The CNC equipment should be placed in a constant temperature environment, and the working environment temperature should be between 0 and 35℃. Avoid the influence of direct sunlight on the heat radiation of the CNC machine tools, and avoid the influence of moisture and airflow. Generally speaking, the CNC electric control box is equipped with an exhaust fan to keep the electronic components, especially the central processing unit, at a constant working temperature or with a small temperature difference. Low temperature or instability will reduce the life of the control system components and lead to more faults.
07
Pay special attention to the working environment in rainy and snowy weather and try to keep it dry. Increased humidity and dust will cause adhesion on the integrated circuit board and cause short circuits.
08
To ensure the normal operation of the cutting oil pump of the CNC drilling machine, the CNC drilling machine must be preheated first.
09
The fluidity of the cutting oil of the CNC milling machine must be ensured to avoid condensation caused by the low temperature of the CNC milling machine, and the unsmooth cooling and rapid wear caused by the blocked cutting oil supply system. The solution is to clean out the cutting oil and remove the cutting oil in the spindle and machine to prevent the equipment from being blocked or broken due to the condensation of cutting oil.
10
Clean up impurities in the cutting oil in time to effectively avoid blockage inside the spindle, so as to avoid problems such as poor cold circulation of the CNC drilling machine.
11
Clean up the iron chips in the machine tool in time to avoid blockage of the oil discharge system or travel obstacles caused by accumulation.
CNC milling machine is an advanced processing equipment with high automation and complex structure. It is widely used in engineering machinery, wind power, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, mining and other mechanical industries, such as boom arm in engineering machinery, wind power ring gear and flange in wind power industry, heat exchanger tube sheet in chemical industry, valve in metallurgical industry, hydraulic support, coal mining machine and tunneling machine in mining machinery. To give full play to the efficiency of CNC equipment, it is necessary to operate correctly and maintain it carefully to ensure the normal operation and high utilization rate of the equipment.
The service life of a carefully maintained equipment may be several times different from that of an unmaintained equipment. Users should never ignore the value of maintenance.
