Several common positioning methods of CNC machining centers

The steps of controlling the machining center, analyzing drawings, programming, working, edge finding, tool preparation, tool setting, and running programs are all indispensable and indispensable.

In the factory, there are always some batch jobs that are often done. We can save the compiled program in the computer and transfer it directly to the machine tool when it is reused next time. After the above steps, after debugging the first job and passing the inspection, don't follow this step again, just go up and down. At this time, you need to do a positioning. In this way, you don't need to find one by one, which improves efficiency and saves a lot of time.

Let's talk about several common positioning methods of CNC machining centers.

1. Dead positioning.

As shown in the figure below, after positioning it in this way, find a good side, and when doing the next one, just rely on the positioning. Some pliers have a threaded hole on the side, which can also be used for positioning.

2. Positioning of the knife bar.

This is similar to the positioning of the turning tool of a CNC car. This requires a positioning program. As shown in the figure below, I used a Φ10 point drill to set the position. The procedure is as follows:

M6 T1

G0 G90 G54 X-5. Y0.

G43 H1 Z50.

Z0.

G1 Z-10 F800.

M00

G1 X-10 F1000.

Z0.

G0 Z100.

M01

But note that this program cannot be implemented on some machine tools, because there is G1, but there is no speed, the machine tool will think that there is a problem with the program. In this case, G0 can be used for positioning.

3. Dedicated fixture positioning.

Generally, a three-jaw chuck is used to position the circle, and there is no need to find the edges one by one. There are also some jobs that require special fixtures, which have special pins for positioning.

4. Draw line positioning.

As shown in the figure below, mill a through slot, just draw a line directly on the pliers, and put it in a rough position every time you work. UG CNC programming learning QQ group: 304214709, there are some rough materials, the shape is larger than the drawing size, and you can also draw lines to locate.
