Fanuc Alarm SV0430 (Servo Motor Overheating)
Cause of Alarm: This alarm is triggered by a temperature detection element in the encoder. When the motor temperature becomes too high, the alarm will be activated.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check for parameter issues. Please reinitialize the servo motor and carefully verify against the parameter list.
2. Check Diagnostic No. 308 to see if the actual temperature is too high. You can use methods like touching the motor to inspect. If the actual temperature is not high, proceed with hardware inspection.
3. If the actual temperature matches the diagnostic data, investigate the cause of the motor overheating. When inspecting hardware, you can troubleshoot by replacing the encoder, motor, feedback cables, and amplifier.
4. If necessary, you can temporarily shield the alarm using parameter 2300#7.
