CNC Turning and milling composite processing
Processing efficiency and precision are the eternal goals pursued in the field of metal processing. With the continuous development of CNC technology, computer technology, machine tool technology and processing technology, traditional processing concepts can no longer meet people's requirements for processing speed, efficiency and precision. Against this background, composite processing technology came into being. Generally speaking, composite processing refers to the general term for processing technologies that can complete different processes or different process methods on one processing equipment. At present, composite processing technology is mainly manifested in two different types. One is the combination of different processing methods based on energy or motion mode; the other is the combination based on the principle of process concentration and mainly based on mechanical processing technology. Turning and milling composite processing is one of the fastest-growing processing methods in this field in recent years.
At present, the parts of aviation products are characterized by small batches of multiple varieties, complex process, and the widespread use of overall thin-walled structures and difficult-to-process materials. Therefore, there are common bottlenecks in the manufacturing process, such as long manufacturing cycle, large material removal, low processing efficiency and severe processing deformation. In order to improve the processing efficiency and processing precision of complex aviation products, process personnel have been seeking more efficient and precise processing methods. The emergence of turning and milling composite processing equipment provides an effective solution for improving the processing accuracy and efficiency of aviation parts.
Compared with conventional CNC processing technology, the outstanding advantages of composite processing are mainly reflected in the following aspects.
(1) Shorten the product manufacturing process chain and improve production efficiency.
Turn-milling composite processing can complete all or most of the processing steps in one clamping, thereby greatly shortening the product manufacturing process chain. This not only reduces the production auxiliary time caused by clamping changes, but also reduces the tooling fixture manufacturing cycle and waiting time, which can significantly improve production efficiency.
(2) Reduce the number of clamping times and improve processing accuracy.
The reduction in the number of clamping times avoids the accumulation of errors caused by the conversion of positioning references. At the same time, most of the current turning and milling composite processing equipment has the function of online detection, which can realize the in-situ detection and precision control of key data in the manufacturing process, thereby improving the processing accuracy of the product.
(3) Reduce the floor space and reduce production costs.
Although the price of a single turning-milling composite machining equipment is relatively high, the shortening of the manufacturing process chain and the reduction of equipment required for the product, as well as the reduction in the number of tooling and fixtures, workshop floor space and equipment maintenance costs, can effectively reduce the overall fixed asset investment, production operation and management costs. |
