Why there are noises from ball screws?

During the manufacturing process, ball screws generate noise due to frequent use, but if you pay attention to maintenance, this situation rarely occurs. The problem with general ball screws is that they do not generate too much noise. Generally speaking, the reasons for the noise are as follows:

(1) Since the balls in the original nuts are of the same size and are oil-tightly sealed, there will not be too much noise. However, after the ball screw has been used for a long time, the balls are worn and replaced. At this time, in order to match the best surgical effect, the balls of different sizes are installed before installation, and the load of the nut increases the running noise.

(2) After long-term use, the ball surface of the ball screw peels off, or the ball screw shaft has problems on the cutting force surface, which will indirectly affect the running trajectory of the ball, causing friction between the nut and the shaft to cause vibration and noise.

(3) Too loose fit, or the nut and screw of the ball screw pair are too long, causing gaps, vibration, and noise.
