These main unit fans come in three configurations—a single large fan, a dual-fan setup (one large and one small), or two small fans. All are designed for direct plug-and-play replacement, allowing for the replacement of either the specific faulty fan or the entire fan assembly.

Although the fan fault can be bypassed via system settings, the fan is essential for dissipating heat from the motherboard; bypassing it prevents proper cooling. The priority when encountering a Fanuc main unit fan fault is to replace the specific fan involved.
